IgeneX Test positive for Lyme, but I learned this morning the long-term blood culture test from Advanced Labs is negative. Has anyone else had this experience?

It's (sort of) like a PCR in that you can have a negative test thru Advanced Labs, but STILL HAVE LYME.
If it had come back positive you could take it to the bank.
I wouldn't worry that you don't have lyme... just worry about the lost $$$$. Posted by debilyn (Member # 35753) on :
I think that just means you didn't have swimming spirochetes in your blood at the time of the draw; the negative could very well be false, especially in light of your WB test.
