Your LLMD or LL ND should advise you on the particular brands and specific supplements. They may suggest where to find these.

Always check with your LL doctor before adding anything new - even if a different brand as the "other" ingredients or processing methods can vary.

Basically, though, in the various articles and books in the ND thread below, you can learn more about HOW to choose herbs and vitamins and some of the places to get those.

Scroll down to find the supplement links. First, see the educational posts - and then the vendors that many here like (such as VitaCost or iHerb):

How to find an ILADS-educated LL:

N.D. (Naturopathic Doctor);

L.Ac. (Acupuncturist);

D.Ay. (Doctor of Ayurvedic Medicine);

D.O.M. (Doctor of Oriental Medicine);

Integrative / Holistic M.D., etc. (Be aware that those in this category can have various levels of formal herbal &/or nutritional education, perhaps even just a short course. Do ask first.)

Links to many articles and books by holistic-minded LL doctors of various degrees who all have this basic approach in common:

Understanding of the importance of addressing the infection(s) fully head-on with specific measures from all corners of medicine;

knowing which supplements have direct impact, which are only support and which are both.

You can compare and contrast many approaches.

VitaCost.com is one of the best online sites. Carries many brands at good prices.

Plus if you join extrabux.com you can get a 10% rebate if you shop thru their portal.

You should try Xymogen,they provide most of the supplements that are in Dr Burrascono's treatment guidelines.

They seem like a good supplement producer considering Dr Richard Horowitz,(a founding member of the ILADS and president of the ILADS Educational Foundation)is on the board of directors of the company.

Vitacost is really good. I also like Pure Formulas. They sell a lot of the Xymogen supplements.
