Have been on doxy for 7 months by ID. Have appt with LLNP in 3wks. They said not to stop doxy. Wondering what is general consenus on stopping abx before blood work. Will probably have lyme test again and coinfection testing. Thanks

I had the blood tests while on doxy. It came out glowingly positive for Lyme even with a conventional lab (no need to do Igenex).
I've heard some docs have you stop for 2 weeks before lab work. For me, it made no difference being on doxy.
