Has anyone had this therapy for painful neck issues? Does it work? My husbands neck is so very painful lately. I was wondering if this might be an option. Thanks

ONLY if there are no sudden twists or turns of the neck or spine. That can be very dangerous with lyme or any infection of the nerves that can affect the spinal cord.

A gentle technique that has helped me a great deal is UPLEDGER. Just web search for someone trained in that technique near you. Often, they are covered by some insurances.

It's very relaxing and great for neck pain and headaches. I would definitely recommend it!!

Find someone experienced.

While the cranial-sacral treatment helped to a nice degree, now that I think about it, MASSAGE was far better for me.

Partly because the LMT could come here and I did not have the sensory assault or endurance hurdles of going out.

Is he getting enough of a good quality MAGNESIUM? That's the #1 pain relief helper.

FISH OIL, too.

If his liver support needs help, that can also explain pain - very often it's a toxicity issue.

LIVER & KIDNEY SUPPORT & and several HERXHEIMER support links, too.

I had neck pain but Mepron with Zithromax. Pulsing art with crypto and the pain left.

Glad mig pointed out that, ultimately, it's most important to TREAT the stealth infections as that usually resolves SO many symptoms.

Along the way, however, suggestions above can help along with targeted treatment.

My Lyme flared horribly with a craniotomy-sacral treatment .... I have mainly head/neuro symptoms and before diagnosed I had a very good CS Tx and woosh the little buggers must have flooded out of my skull or something .... I was soo sick and my neck and shoulders got soo sore.... I had to treat it immediately !!! Use caution...p

Cx=waspsting,

What KIND of cranial-sacral tx did you get? I also had horrible reactions from the kind that does quick twists of the neck.

Upledger is nothing at all like that. It's very gentle, always, but still purposeful as they are so well trained.

My husband is getting regular cranial treatments. He always feels better afterwards.

Drink plenty of water after a treatment to help your body detox.

Sheesh... I agree... what the heck was THAT? I'm pretty sure my therapist was Upledger trained. She was awesome. And yes, it could open up a bunch of stuff... DRINK WATER.

Thanks all. I am looking at Upledger. Hopefully will give him some relief. Although the IV Levaquin has kicked in.

I had cranio-sacral therapy. It was very gentle and helped me tremendously. I had even visited a surgeon but elected not to have surgery.

Guess I'm just the lucky one?? The CS was very gentle... Just got several big releases..... Or I was about to blow anyway?!? Now that I think about it alittle more.... The second half was massage....' more recently I had a very very lite massage and the face work once again triggered symptoms requiring more meds..??? I am gun shy now and oh so want the relaxation afforded by massage. P
