I am wanting to know how the famous pediatrician Dr. J treats for bartonella. My LLMD is treating with zithromax and I am not seeing much improvement.
Please PM me.

My daughter had bottom of sole pain as one of three symptoms. She is on Zithro and Cefdinir.
The foot pain is gone. The headaches come at night for her still though, but never during the day.

Thanks for the replies. Both my daughters are battling. While they are about 90% we cant seem to get that last 10%, so they feel like they did before.
Any suggestions?

My older DD is seeing a different LLMD, she is starting Zith and RIfampin for bart, testing negative but has bad foot sole pain upon waking and some other bart symptoms. Has been on other combo abx for Lyme. I cannot comment on how Dr J treats so leave that to others, but I have had a couple of other mothers tell me this combo has worked well for them, From my limited knowledge I do not think Zith does much on its own. Our LLMD preferred Doxy/Rifampin by my DD HATES Doxy and also has some issues with Strep so we went with Zith.

While mine doesn't see dr J, she is on rifampin and zith for bart. We've recently started A-bart. She's been on this combo for maybe 9 months, if not more.
She is down to ankle pain, and only occasional foot pain. She used to be in pretty bad shape, sore legs, headaches, anxiety through the roof, nighttime terrors, food cravings, etc. We are nearing the end as she is now a very normal kid.
