It contains 50 Billion organisms per capsule and it is almost HALF the cost of the probiotic that I have taken for 3 1/2 years (Ultimate Flora Critical Care 50 Billion...which I love).
The differences that I see are that a couple of the 10 strains are different and the one from Prohealth does have a couple extra inactive ingredients.
If this Prohealth Probiotic Extreme 50 Billion is a good formulation, it could be quite a cost savings.
I also noticed that Prohealth is offering 20% off of orders over $75 until 12/26/12.
I just received my CustomPro's .. so it'll be awhile until I'll be ordering. Keep us posted on it! Posted by Dekrator48 (Member # 18239) on :
I just noticed that another difference is that the Prohealth product contains 50 caps for $28.49 and the Ultimate Flora I order contains 60 caps for $55.29.
Even with the $5.99 shipping charge from Prohealth, I think this is still a much better price.

I think that works out to $.92 per serving for Ultimate Flora 50 Billion, and $.57 per serving for the Prohealth Probiotic Extreme 50 Billion.

Lymetoo,
I think the one you ordered works out to $.50 per serving, so that is better (not counting 20% off of a Prohealth order over $75)....if I calculated right.
Have you been taking those very long?

yeah, Ultimate Flora is pricey. I only bought that one when I would run out of other stuff. It's the best one that my health food store carries.
50 cents per serving for custom probiotics
but the Prohealth has more strains .. glad to see that it is dairy free

We posted at the same time.. lol.
I've been using it about 6 months.

Oh, ok, I see that the Custom Probiotics has 5 strains and the other 2 have 10 strains.

I have used alot of other Prohealth products and they are good.
Plus, when I call there...they have this customer service rep named Gail, who is one of the nicest customer service reps that I have ever encountered....lol.

Actually, I guess I've been using it a bit longer than 6 months. I think it has helped! I'm on my third bottle and I usually only take one a day since I'm not on abx.

they are cheaper, stronger and they helped a lot 66 billions in capsule Posted by Haley (Member # 22008) on :
I only buy probiotics that are refrigerated. Do you think it makes a difference?
Posted by Lymetoo (Member # 743) on :
Some brands are good enough that they can arrive without refrigeration. It's got to be a company I trust. ( you have to trust that they store them refrigerated! )

Research I've been taking 10 + Biollion every day. Try it. Our plumbing needs a daily sourse of PROBIOTs. Since 2005 I have answers that can remove the items from the shelves that to eat the High Probiotics instead. What you dont thnk it's simple is right where we are meant to be. With a probiotic if taken Antibiotics. I never miss a day. I get the 10 billion 60 cap for $16.00

Isn't it cheaper to get the bugs from fermented food or drink?
Posted by Lymetoo (Member # 743) on :
Annie.. if you are on antibiotics, you need approximately 100 billion CFU's per day.
azlyme.. I do both now. I drink homemade kombucha and take the probiotics.
