I did four months of Bicillin-LA. Will stop for now. Past months added low dose Doxy and low dose/pulsed Zith.
I am thinking I don't want to take "killers" - perhaps I cannot handle the extra die-off/toxins.
My HLA type shows the trouble detoxing aspect.
So wouldn't a bacteriostatic/growth inhibitor treatment plan be better? Toxins and herx-wise?
What are the bacteriostatic herbs/Abx for Lyme and Co's - and their doses?
I know I am battling Lyme, Bart.,Cpn and MycoPn. Have tested neg for Babs - but I guess one has to assume one has it - with the other things present. I have not treated for Babs.
Can taking bacteriostatic meds/doses help and perhaps eventually zero out the pathogens?
Thanks any thoughts/experiences.

"The difference between medicine and poison is in the dose".
That is so true. I have come to accept that I will never erradicate the tick-borne bacteria in my body.
I am no longer willing to half kill myself in an attempt to kill the bugs.
I would be happy on a long-term, low dose antibiotic that's tolerable, instead of the 53 different meds/supps I was previously on.
I have felt better (not healed, but not bedbound) these past two weeks on 1 antibiotic and a couple of supplements, than the past year on handfuls and handfuls of pills/day.

Binders!
I have the bad detox gene and was told to take charcoal, phytosterols or modified fruit pectin to help bind up the toxins!
