I'm still dealing with these awful eye twitches. They started before my current meds so I know they are not related. It is both eyes mostly the upper lids.
I did notice when I took sudafed and mucinex they practically disappeared. I wonder if they could be sinus related. I have also noticed they twitch more when there is bright light, sudden noise. I feel my vision is a little blurry as well.

How much magnesium are you taking?
Muscle twitches and spasms are symptoms of low magnesium.
Sensitivity to light and sound are symptoms of low magnesium.
The liver uses magnesium to make glutathione, which it uses to detoxify the poisons left behind by dead Lyme bacteria. So if you're already deficient, taking antibiotics to kill Lyme can make it worse.
Most of us are deficient in magnesium, as the Lyme bacteria live in our cells and use it up for themselves.

I really think I am getting more than enough magnesium. I usually take the Mag tab SR 2 twice day and sometimes add in a mag/potassium with it as well.

The body has difficulty absorbing magnesium, especially when it's deficient.
You may be taking it, but your body doesn't seem to be absorbing it. Are you taking Vitamin D3? You need D to absorb mag, and you couldn't possibley be getting enough Vitamin D by sunshine, as it's winter, and the sun is lower in the sky.
You could try alternating with a different brand/form of magnesium, such as Source Naturals Ultra-Mag or Mag Calm.
I'm not sure why sudafed and mucinex decreased the twitches, that's interesting. But you cannot be taking them all the time.

I was very low in vit D so my PCP had me supplement with a very high dose once a week for a few months. I now take 1000mg/day
