A dear friend of mine had to stop meds due to elevated liver enzymes.
Any suggestions of how to do it naturally?
Thanks in advance.

My daughters enzymes were 16x normal from taking mepron and biaxin.. She was very close to liver failure. It happened within 3 weeks of her last normal lab. it was the tipping point of her stopping all abx. She used only natural remedies to bring them back to.normal within 2 months. Among the things she used were: milk thistle. Dandelion root tea, fresh ginger tea with turmeric, pekana detox kit, wellness juice which consisted of beet root, dandelion and burdock root..

Youre welcome.. just remind her to take it slow not too much all at once.. The dandelion tea was very beneficial and she drank that at least twice everyday.

I have had TONS of liver enzyme problems. IV glutathione pushes help, along with the following supplements: Hepa #2, Liver Protect, and ALAmaxCR.
Hope they go down!

I agree, glutathione IV's helped me tremendously with keeping the enzymes down. I think some of my elevations were due to Bart because Rifampin (which is notoriously hard on the liver) lowered my enzymes into a normal range and kept it there almost immediately.
I also like NAC, ALA and liver detox teas.

If you add milk thistle and alpha lipoic acid to your supplements, it should do the trick.

My liver #s got elevated at one point. One of my docs recommended eating lots of green vegetables. I did, and it worked. My #s were not that high but this brought them down without me stopping the meds.
Green veggies are good for you anyways so it's worth a try!

Milk thistle always gets mine back in check right away. As long as I take it twice daily, they never go up. I am on a LOT of meds and have been for 8 years and I love me some milk thistle!
