Hi group.

1) Am hoping to get users' (Bicillin) opinions about the following. I've heard that Bicillin often makes people feel so well because it has a tendency to drive Bb into its cystic form (this is assuming that one isn't also using a cyst-busting drug simultaneously, of course). Is there any truth to this? I've had such a tumultuous fall/early winter with my symptoms that, right now, the trade off between feeling a little better despite driving the bugs into cysts seems far worth it! [Smile]

2) Also- am wondering what Bicillin users length of use typically looks like. For example, is there a commonly agreed upon timeline, e.g. 6 months?

3) Lastly, am wondering if there are any Bicillin users whose cardiac symptoms (e.g. arrhythmias, tachycardia, etc.) were greatly helped by this drug?

Eager to hear about those applicable positive experiences. Many thanks!

Not a Bicillin expert here, but did do the shots 2x a week for 6 months total-

I did use a cyst buster throughout, Tindimax 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, repeat.

I have no heart issues (knock knock) and hubby did a great job giving me shots from home, no complications, the protocol did help me neuro wise, I believe.

My LLMD did say there was no hard/fast rule about length of Bicillin protocol - I was told the patient usually says: enough!

Good luck- hope it is successful for you.

surprise,

thank you so much for your helpful response! Only been doing the Bicillin for a few weeks, but so far, I like what I'm seeing. My hubby has also become my nurse! [Smile]

I am doing other meds in conjunction w/ the Bicillin...just not something like Tindamax...yet. All in due time, though!

What was your experience with the Tindamax? Any problems w/ it causing neuropathy? Oh yeah...and did you Herx badly while on the Bicillin?

Thanks again for your great input! So appreciated!

Hello-

For me, an hour or two after the shot, I'd need a nap. But that's me. I didn't get sick or anything negative from the shots.
Put an ice pack on the cheek immediately after and sat on it.
No lumps, bruises, or issues

Tindimax was hard to start, for sure. I had to build up to the 2 weeks straight- LLMD told me same number of days off as on, but wanted me to build up to the 2 weeks on--

I had quality supps and detox items on board, too---

Glad to hear you have good support/ nurse help ;-)

surprise,

thanks again for your insight. Funny that you should mention the need for the nap...since beginning the Bicillin my fatigue has been off the charts!!! Zzzzzzzzzzz.

I will tuck away the info. about Tindamax for future use!

I hope that you feel better soon!

Bicillin helped me with neuro symptoms more than cardiac (my cardiac symptoms were directly related to bart though and got much better with bart rather than Lyme treatment), but sometimes after injections I would feel chest pain that was more like a herxing kind of discomfort, so I think it's possible Bicillin was hitting something in the heart area too.

LymeCFIDSMCS,

Thank you so much for your helpful reply! You and I have conversed through this Forum in the past, and I think that you could be of great help to me (info.-wise) due to my ever evolving heart symptoms. I recall from your story that you have been through the ringer like nobody's business! [Smile]

Will plan to PM you this evening (hope that you don't mind!) or a little later in the week.

Thanks again!
