I have been working w/a Dr. who really seems to know her stuff about EVERYTHING. She basically indicates that Rifes cause Herx's which don't lead to healing. My husband and I were dx'd this past summer, and we're on abx; I'm on Malarone. We've seen definite progress, but there seems to be a long road ahead. I'm concerned to be on abx for so long, but I don't want to stop them and backslide either.
Any info from oldies would be appreciated.

If it is working, stick with it until it no longer makes sense to continue.
Rife frequency treatment works for many people, but the trick is to find what works for you. Since you are getting results now, there is no advantage in changing horses at this point.
The part about Rife frequency treatments causing a herx is true enough, but any treatment that kills Lyme will do the same.
The herx does not make the treatment work, but it does not stop it from working either. It is an unfortunate result of dumping toxins in the blood stream from dead bacteria.

I began treating with Rife AFTER I was recovered from antibiotic therapy for Lyme. I feel it helped keep me OFF antibiotics. I haven't even Rifed for awhile. I've been off abx for 8+ yrs now.

I should add that my wife never had the chance to treat with antibiotics. Rife frequency treatments were her main treatment for Lyme, Babesia & Bart.
The Babesia has been gone for a long time. She may have some remnant of Lyme and possibly Bart. I only treat her once in while now, when her joints bother her. The symptoms go away quickly.
She is normal most of the time, and works 50 hours a week. She has more energy than I do.
I would not say she is cured but she is as close to it as you can get.
