I read that creatine and CO Q 10 help boost ATP . Has anyone tried this or ANYTHING that helped with energy ?

There are many supplements to try (yes, most are expen$ive):

CoQ10 (Ubiquinol)
D-Ribose
NADH
A-B12
Methyl B12
Vit. B2
Acetyl-L-Carnitine

I'm also trying Mitosynergy now, think it helps a bit.

Dr. Sarah Myhill in the UK has a lot info on her site (sorry I don't have the link; google it)...

I know that creatine is recommended but the only time I used to use that was when I lifted weights 3-4 times a week. It gives you that extra boost so you can lift heavier. It does boost ATP.

Now of course, that was before I got sick. I was a personal trainer and I have a gym in my house. I am looking forward to lifting again, I hope soon.

No CoQ10 for me with Babs. D-Ribose helped me a long time ago and I am thinking of trying it again.

No CoQ10 with mepron or malarone.

Burrascano says it on page 28:

"3. CO-Q10- required, but do not use while taking the prescription drug atovaquone (Mepron, Malarone)."

This website explains why:

http://www.lymebook.com/antibiotic-treatment-for-babesia-bartonella-ehrlichia-co-infections

Quote:

"The second precaution concerns the use of supplement doses of coenzyme Q10, alpha lipoic acid, and vitamin E while on atovaquone. These should not be used while taking atovaquone because they are all fat-soluble antioxidants that tend to neutralize the pro-oxidant effects of atovaquone against Babesia."
