Just wondering. My PCP wants to do it for me. I'm willing. I don't know how much he charges yet and didn't know what to expect.

Thanks!

I paid $30 a dose. My son had a PICC so no other supplies were needed. It adds up quickly.

We are now trying liposomal Gluatathione from Researched Nutritionals. Not cheap either!

How often do you need to do them?

I paid between $50-$75. They did work. I'd say once a week. Yes, VERY expensive. Could try NAC, the precursor to glutathione after doing a few IV's to get jumpstarted.

My insurance actually covered them, which is CRAZY considering the things it doesn't cover. I pay an $18 copay for 4 or 5.

Yes, my dr mentioned taking something after we get it going.

That would be GREAT if my insurance would pay on it.

PS .. Do you notice a difference in how you feel while on the IV's?

Lymetoo, I notice an absolute immediate response to the Glutathione.

I have to be very careful about injecting it over a long period of time (10-15 minutes) because it can make you feel flushed and nauseated otherwise.

I notice a clearer mind and an overall better feeling. Hopefully you will, too!

Ditto what Life+Lyme said.

Infuserve sells it for $12 dose if you have IV access I have to inject over 40 minutes or it gives me a whopper of a headache.

I go through Infuserve as well...$12.50 per dose, plus A LOT for shipping...usually $45+!

But, like faithful said, only if you already have IV access (i.e. PICC line, etc.).

Personally, though, I have spent probably close to $1,000 on this stuff and it has done nothing for me. But, then again, nothing really has...
ugh...

Good luck though!

Bummer... he's charging $90 a pop... no can do!

Even before my port, my integrative doctor only charged $30 for glutathion IV push from a nurse.

If you have a PICC or other IV access already in place, I know that Key Pharmacy in Washington state charged me around $200 for 10 pre-mixed syringes, and I could infuse on my own, at home.

If you don't have an IV already, check around with chiropractors, naturopaths, and other alternative medicine practitioners. They often offer IV glutathione, nutritional support, etc. I'd guess youd' find someone charging less than $90.
