Greetings- I am a physician and and a chronic Lyme patient (w/ Babesia) looking for whole body hyperthermia, deep hyperbaric, and other intensive or novel therapies in US or anywhere. Could you please advise if you have ANY experience or guidance on these therapies? Will Cancer centers that do hyperthermia take us, for cash? What types of treatments are availalbe in Mexico? How have folks "connected" with these treatments through cancer networks? okay, huge thanks for any help- Shane

For deep dives and Lyme, I have always read about Chico hyperbaric in California. But I cannot find them in a search so I wonder if they are still open. They may be able to help in locating a hyperthermia place in Mexico.

Closer to you is: http://www.juliashbot.com/ She is a nurse. Perhaps corresponding with her will point you in the right direction for what you are looking for.

Best,
Karen

I'll move this to medical questions so you will get more feedback (I hope!)

I have never undergone hyperbaric but have considered it. I found a business card of someone I used to market with in healthcare. The company is called hbo2works.

Interestingly, when I click on their site, I no longer see a Houston location, only a Denton, TX location. I am not sure if there is any coincidence that the only LLMD in TX is located in Denton. There is not a heck of a whole lot going on in Denton.

Anyway, the site is www.hbo2works.com. Perhaps you can make an inquiry. Logic would dictate that these facilities would be located in coastal cities, probably more southern. Bahamas perhaps?

I did deep dive hbot. Just keep your eyes closed in the hood or use a mask to protect your lens from oxygen toxicity. It's very helpful, but its adjunctive and you probably don't need those deep pressures. The idea with deep pressures is to allow perfusion of oxygen into bone (osteomyletis). It's adjunctive in any case. It does not kill the spirochetes. Animal studies show they get suppressed but recrudesce within 3 months. You can add it to abx therapy if you like. If you want to use it as a lifestyle modifier, then just do mild hbot, which is very helpful too but safer and can be done longterm.

I think Connie at Pennsylvania Hyperbaric in Columbia PA is very well versed in treatment. This did not cure my wife but it certainly helped.

I wouldn't do it if you have babesia.

Look into RIFE technology, Photon treatments, anti-parasitic treatments (search for providers well-versed in parasite protocols by checking http://www.klinghardtacademy.com )...

Homeopathy, Herbs (Buhner, Cowden, Byron White, Jernigan, Zhang, etc.), and many other interesting and unusual things can be helpful also.

I have babesia and it was still very helpful. Jury's out on babesia speculation.

Oxygenbabe...

Can you please site the studies you are speaking of regarding the animal studies showing that spirochetes are only suppressed, not killed, and recrudesce 3 months after stopping hyperbaric treatment? In all my research I have not seen these and would like to read them...Thanks...

Shane...

I had severe neurological Lyme w/Babesia & Bartonella for 8 years...considered an antibiotic failure, and so ill I was homebound for 5 years straight. My symptoms were extreme and relentless. I was told, even by LLMD's, that I needed a miracle, and there was nothing more they could do for me (I tried many, many protocols with never any improvement, just a continual spiral downward). I eventually became so environmentally sensitive that I could do no treatments for 5 years before starting MILD hyperbaric treatment w/supplemental oxygen (I bought my own chamber and self-treated 1 hour daily). I now have my life back...working again, running (I had been a runner for 17 years), traveling, etc. It has been a miraculous recovery, and it is 100% due to mHBOT (along with meticulous diet, and gradual exercise). I believe success depends on the frequency and consistency of use...many people say they "tried hyperbaric, but it didn't work"...but if you query them, inevitably they didn't do it consistently or frequently enough...or for a long enough duration. Low (pressure) and slow WORKS...I'm living proof...
