I recently ha a serious UTI. I was put on CeFePime Iv for four days before they changed me to meropenem

I felt great those four days. All my Lyme symptoms were better.

I asked my LLMD to put me on it. He won't . Says he never heard of it it is the new rocephin

Now what do i I do? It really worked for me

This reference lists cefipime as a 4th generation cephalosporin, and has a table showing that 3rd and 4th generation cephalosporins are used for neuro lyme, lyme carditis and lyme arthritis.

Is there a specific reason you're not on abx right now for Lyme? Is his refusal related to that?
