I'm sure they know enough to seal off the area. You or anyone else who has the bad genes for mold really shouldn't be home during the gut.

We went through this ourselves last year, we were just finishing up around this time. If we didn't address this I'm sure I would be still sick.

Good luck, I hope it goes well.

I would cover up or remove everything in the room that could possibly get mold spores on it. Especially books or things made out of paper that you can't wash. I would talk to the guy ahead of time and then ask them what there action plan is. You almost have to act like that stuff is radioactive because you can't see the spores. Guys that like will either be very experienced and know what to do or they might be careless if they're not sensitive. I would talk to them and ask them exactly what their strategy is and come back here for response... also giving detail on exactly where the mold is and what all remediation entails.

This is one area where you want to do your homework and sadly, we can't count on the professional with blind faith... Hope it goes well though, maybe they will be experts at it!
