After three years of aggressive meds, diet, I'm done.
Have faith, follow your doctors orders.
Even my pesky Bart which I treated for 1.5 years is gone.
Thank u to all who supported me through this journey.

At first I wasn't sure what you meant....done as in fed up, or done as in remission. Sounds like remission.
Sending you a hearty congratulations!!!
Wishing you the very best of health in the future. Enjoy your life!!

Great news! Congratulations!
Today, I was fed up with it all and told my husband that I was ready to ditch all treatment and let Lyme and co do whatever it's going to do to me.
Posts like yours give me hope to keep going. Thanks for that. Posted by janice victorov (Member # 22937) on :
I wa never n I'v. Just Orals and plenty of them.

janice,
So very happy for you! What a momentous day!
Having just crossed the 2.5 years of treatment mark myself, it is encouraging to know that lasting relief might soon be on the horizon. May I ask just how long your "plus" in the 3-plus years, actually was?
Atop of being IGeneX/CDC-positive for Lyme, I am also IGeneX-pos for Babesia (microti). Am just curious if you also had other tick-borne infections that you had to tackle through sustained treatment?
I know that my stealth Babs infection really wreaks havoc on my yet-unrelenting Lyme. Go figure.
Well again, many congrats on your long, and undoubtedly well-fought journey back to health!!!
You deserve all the best as you healthily move forward with your life! Told you...

Did you fall into the category that you had to get much more & developed NEW symptoms while on treatment?
That it was confusing & it seemed like it was never ending, with migrating symptoms daily?
Posted by Ellen101 (Member # 35432) on :
So happy for you Janice, but I'm confused. How did you know that your recent symptoms you posted about were no longer related to Lyme? I struggle with some of the same ones.

Tammy N,
"At first I wasn't sure what you meant....done as in fed up, or done as in remission. Sounds like remission."
What do you mean by 'sounds like remission'? Isn't she saying she is cured?
Just wondering......................
Posted by Lymetoo (Member # 743) on :
They're still looking for a cure for Lyme, carolann. She may be one of the lucky ones who never has it come back!
Posted by janice victorov (Member # 22937) on :
