I always get marked increased nasal congestion when on antibiotics. I feel that it is yeast driven since those seem to act up at same time. Anyone else get this. It is a pretty bad congestion that makes me feel i cant take a good breath.

Yes, it's likely fungal. Very likely.

Thanks! I am in such a bind bc of this. I really need to be off abx to treat it, but i cant. I knew this was where i was headed.

Can you really treat yeast being on abx? Wont it just continue to get worse despite being on the diet and antifungals? This is what i am afraid of.
If it didnt affect my breathing...i wouldnt fret so much, but its sort of a big deal. And when i mention this to docs, they look at me like im nuts.
Even Dr. C thought it was likely an abx herx. But i know that it did this before i treated for lyme, i treated for yeast only for several months and finally got better. But it got worse before better.

Well, you can treat it, but it won't knock it out while on abx. However, you can't allow it to get out of control either.
You should be carefully watching your diet and if you feel it's yeast, call Dr C for some Diflucan.
But diet is extremely important while on abx.

I don't know whether this would help, but when I started drinking mangosteen juice, my sinuses ran for two days - ie, emptying out.

Oops sorry for double post...will try to delete. Dr.C gave me nystatin and diflucan. I had to do one full week off of sugar first. I started the nytatin this week...and the congestion got worse! Maybe a herx. Thats what it did for months when i treated yeast with herbs.
But i do always notice the congestion when i start taking abx

That is protomyxzoa. It causes nasal congestion like having an allergy or a cold. It can also get into your vocal cords and make your voice hoarse. It can cause a dry unproductive cough.
For me, these symptoms came and went and came again. It was not consistent.

Lymetoo...i like this guy. Do you have a link to where he talks about head pressure? Thanks

No, I sure don't. You could call their office. I think the phone number is on the site.
(sorry that I just now saw your question!)

When I am allergic to a med, my sinuses swell. They swell to the point that I can barely breathe. No congestion or discharge. Just swollen mucus membranes.
This has only happened with tablets. Never capsules. I suspect it's the fillers.

Sorry if I glazed over it...but, have you been tested for MARCONS? Might be a good idea!
