So i asked Dr office if my sudden backslide of enourmous head pressure after one day off abx was unusual.
He said yes....it ls likely treating something else! We were already worried about a strep infection in teeth...so i was panicked like...what if this is not lyme at all.
So then i called and asked if it could be bartonella...since the bactrim is what helps...and they called back to say yes, bartonella could be your problem.
Anyone else have maasive backslide missing one day with bart or anything else?

It is my understanding or conventional wisdom... that states if you backslide immediately it is a co-infection. If it doesn't happen for a few weeks it is Lyme.
I hope you find something that helps you feel better.

From Burrascano Guidelines:
"Classic lyme:
.. if treatment is ended too soon, an initial period of well-being will gradually, over a few weeks, be replaced by a return of symptoms....
Bartonella and "Bartonella-Like Organism":
Rapid response to treatment changes- often symptoms improve within days after antibiotics are begun, but relapses occur also within days if medication is withdrawn early."
If you have never tried levaquin, you may want to give it a try. It is the best in treating bart--much, much better than Bactrim. Levaquin is how I got rid of bart. Took it for 30 days.
See Burrascano Guidelines discussion:
"The drug of choice to treat BLO is levofloxacin. Levofloxacin is usually never used for Lyme or Babesia, so many patients who have tick-borne diseases, and who have been treated for them but remain ill, may in fact be infected with BLO. Treatment consist of 500 mg daily (may be adjusted based on body weight) for at least one month. Treat for three months or longer in the more ill patient. It has been suggested that levofloxacin may be more effective in treating this infection if a proton pump inhibitor is added in standard doses." (page 24)
The patient should load up on magnesium before starting this med. See the following website for instructions:
