I am sad to have to come back here, but glad thus place is here...if that makes sense. I had been in remission for a couple of years now.
My 4 year old and I were bitten about two weeks ago and both of us feel like junk now. We are blessed his pediatrician is lyme aware and will treat him until his symptoms are gone. I got doxy from mine, but only a month. I posted in seeking.
Any tips or things I can take while I wait to get into an llmd? I have some silver on hand. Thanks!

Astragalus is what Buhner recommends for a new tick bite. Helps stimulate the immune response needed.
Also, check into the other recommended herbal protocols - Byron White, Cowden, Zhang, Jernigan, Buhner... All may offer something you can do while waiting for an LLMD appointment.

When you call the Lyme doctor, be sure to tell them that your bite is recent. Maybe they can fit you in so you can get properly treated sooner.

Ask to be put on the cancellation list. And call every day to see if there is a cancellation. You could possibly do that with a couple of LLMD's to see who you could see sooner.
Plus, there is always fish doxy available at pet stores. It's purported to be as pure as people doxy.
