Just went back on Antibiotics a month ago - Biaxin and Placquenil for a reactivation of Lyme.
Been having really bad upper abdominal pains since this weekend and saw my PCP who diagnosed gastritis and put me on prilosec.
Stopped taking the Abx just in case that was causing the problems and I do feel a bit better today which is great.
But my knees and elbows really hurt today - so got me thinking that I am in the midst of a herx (a month out on Abx) and maybe the abdomen pain is a herx perhaps?
Just wondering if anyone has seen similar?

Plaquenil killed my stomach. Then you have Biaxin added to that. Ouch.
Maybe a few days off will help, but keep in mind that Plaq may be the hardest one on your stomach. I doubt that part is a herx.
