I have recently been dealing with a lot of neuropathy and antibiotics have been doing more harm than good. I am considering an IVIG trial to see if I can heal some of those nerves as well as support my immune system.
Are any of Dr. H's patients on IVIG? Is so are you getting it through him? I've heard there is a lyme literate neurologist (Dr. K) in Connecticut that treats with IVIG, but I'm not sure if I would have to set up an appointment with him in addition to seeing Dr. H.
Any other thoughts or musings regarding IVIG would be appreciated as well!
Thanks!

I see an out of state LLMD and my PCP has to be the one to write the order. My LLMD writes it on a script to my primary doc.
Same for PICC lines.
My immune system was very low way back when I went to Dr. H. and he never ordered it. My current LLMD ordered it due to my labs.
I don't know what criteria is followed to get it for neuropathy though it is an indication for IVIG.
It has helped quite a bit with neuropathy. I hope you are able to get it and it helps.

My immune system is shot, I had sepsis and my immune system didn't even notice it and try to fight. He hasn't ordered it for me.
I know that he checks Immunogloblulin levels.
Are low Immunoglobulin levels the only criteria for getting IVIG?
