I just got bit by a tick last week. I got the rash 1 week later, and because I have family members with this disease, I knew to go to a doctor that really knows about Lyme.
He prescribed more than 1 antibiotic and plaquenil and an antifungal.
I know that I will probably be okay on all of these medications, but I've never been on so much before. I am healthy, but I have an irregular heartbeat that they say is benign and abnormal EKGs. It doesn't slow me down.
But could plaquenil or antibiotics or antifungals make my heart worse? I would like to hear about experiences.

I've taken 4 plaquenil a day for over a yr. No heart issues.

Yes, anti-fungals and antibiotics can cause heart symptoms. Check that out at www.drugs.com .. or call your pharmacist.
