Getting ready to start a 3-day pulse. Pharmacist had never heard of it. Why don't docs prescribe this more?

Any experiences? Warnings?

Our pharm had to order it for us. Two of us here are on it. Really don't notice a difference of any kind. No side effects for us. Kinda looks like candy!!!!Have taken it with mepron and now with clindy.

Good luck with it,

Sounds good! I can't tolerate Mepron, Malarone, or Lariam, so this is one of the last rx options :-)

MMS might be another option for treating Babs. There is now a MMS thread here at LymeNet.

There is also a video about a study last December 2012 showing MMS given to malarial patients in Africa. They were ALL cured with one/two doses.

Since babs is similar to malaria, it might be helpful for us.

Here is the video:

I'm going to start a new post with the video to see what others think about it.

What different protocols are people doing with Coartem/Riamet, i.e., with Mepron? Taken at a lesser dose, but over a week, etc.?

Are you instructed to take it with other meds for infections, or by itself?

Are you instructed to do a wash-out before and after Coartem of other meds for TBD's? If so, how long---3 days?
