Has anyone changed their filtration system in their home. I was researching a company called Aquasauna. Lyme diagnosis opened my eyes to so much, including the fact that there is flouride among other things in the water [Frown] Have others addressed this or heard anything about Aquasauna? Thanks

I found this recently because I had been interested in Aquasauna... so I remembered the name when you mentioned it.

I use a Travel Berkey. It is a stand alone and you can get filters for it that filter fluoride. The filters are not cheap, though.

However, a whole house filtration system actually invites more microbes to live in the pipes and then get in the water.

Interestingly, when we spoke with MultiPure about fluoride filtering, they said fluoride removal methods depend on the pH of the water, and what works at one pH won't at other pH's.

That said, I was under the impression that reverse osmosis filtration does remove fluoride...

I have reverse osmosis in my house, including the ice maker in the fridge. I add back trace minerals via Concentrace drops, because it does remove everything like chlorine, fluoride, and even the good minerals.
