I've spoken with a few people who have recovered from lyme disease. One used abx, one all natural, but both got laser treatment from the same chiropractor. I'm going to give it a try while on abx and herbs. Just wondering if this might be similar to the RIFE machine. Both were sick for years before proper diagnosis and both took a few years to get better.

Not at all. Rife involves electrical frequencies.

What kind of laser? Cold laser?

My chiro used a cold laser on my neck and it helped the pain. I truly feel like it did a little bit of healing of the tissues. I don't know if that's possible, but sure feels better.

It's supposed to work!

It's called Erchonia laser. I think many chiropractors are doing it. The man who is better was undiagnosed for two years, did abx for two years and the last 6 months of abx did the laser treatment. He is 99% better he says since last October. He thinks it's due to the last six mos. of abx. and the laser treatment.

lax mom, I don't know if they do the whole body. I know they start with shorter sessions and increase gradually. My first appt. is Wednesday afternoon.

The lady who explained things to me on the phone was very honest. She said it does wonders for many but not for everyone. She said it's a process and most likely won't help much longterm unless done for several months. She also said I will probably have a herx reaction. I'll let you all know! I'm herxing now from abx so it should be a blast! [Smile]

Ask them if this is the same as "cold laser"..?

My son had treatment for pain with the Erchonia laser. Yes, it is a "cold laser".

It did not help him.

OH, dang. I had that on my foot. (cold laser) It didn't help, but I may have needed more treatments than I had. I think I only had 3-4 treatments.

GRRR...

Rife uses sound waves that vibrate at the same frequency as the bacteria cells.
This damages the bacteria and kills them.

Cold laser and low level laser therapy use LED light.
LED's are light emitting diodes.

The energy in the light waves is absorbed by the ATP in the mitochondria in our cells.
When the cells aren't getting enough oxygen and blood sugar to make energy, this additional energy will help the mitochondria to work better, and the cell returns to health.

This means that wounds heal quickly, muscle spasms relax, and inflammation goes down.
With the additional nutrients and energy, the cells in the organs work better.
When the organs are working well, the organism (that's us!) feels good.

LED light therapy improves the bloodflow to the cells, and this will help infections to heal.
The white blood cells phage (eat) the bacteria.

Our cat got bitten, and his foot swelled to twice its normal size.
I used the SOTA LightWorks on it for 15 minutes, and the swelling went down in a couple hours.
It was healed in two days.

There was one time that the cat got a bite (he hadn't been neutered yet, and was fighting) and I didn't treat it.
It took almost a week for it to heal.

Cold laser
I had to treat my lymphs and wow it's powerful !
It really helps with clearing out your lymphs and
I had lympodema were it pooled up and was not
Flowing and from the Lyme disease and infections.

It takes multiple treatments and if your very ill
Watch out and be ready to herx badly.

But you feel better after and I believe its from the
Clearing if a detox pathway.

Make sure to support your liver prior and after
And tons of water and coffee ememas !

I had my erchonia laser treatment yesterday and I've been having a major herx reaction...aching, completely exhausted, weak, sore, etc. He did muscle testing which showed out of the three abx I'm taking I was allergic to one (azithromycin), body not wanting plaque nil and body accepting cefpo. He did muscle testing that showed I had no coinfections but still had lyme. He used the laser for only 30-40 seconds. The muscle testing still seems a little skeptical to me, but I'm still willing to give this a shot. Hope I feel better tomorrow. Feel like I've been hit by a truck today. Last night was bad too. Muscle testing also showed my adrenals are in very bad shape but other organs are good. Oh, and muscle testing detected liver flukes. Wish my lyme doc and this doc could work together. This dr. would, but not so sure my lyme dr. would be willing.

Have him check the meds again next time. I hear it can fluctuate from one day to the next with muscle testing.

Hope this helps you!!

That's what I was thinking too lymetoo. What else have you heard about muscle testing?
