Side effects or is it hitting something?

Hitting Bart and Babs. Big time.

This is a great combo, but rough. Be sure to drink LOTS of water and detox.

Watch for signs of allergy to Septra. I can't take it. I get swollen eyes and dry swollen lips, then blisters on mucus membranes.

These are early signs of Stevens-Johnson Syndrome.

Don't freak out. Most people tolerate it fine. But it's good to know the early warning signs.

You should make great progress on this combo.

I have so much anxiety! It's awful!

I had to take a low dose Benzo to get through this phase.

Don't suffer. Managing symptoms makes all the difference.

Biaxin will do that. I only took pediatric doses when I was on it. It took a few weeks to build, and then the anxiety hit. I stopped after a few months. Zithromycin in the same RX family does the same thing.

Once I stopped it only took a few days to clear. what a difference.

By day 3 of biaxin I could not sleep a wink, could not eat even one spoonful of food in a day (complete anorexia), and had anxiety.

When I reported this to my doc, he laughed and said this was side effects to the biaxin. He took me off of it.

Biaxin has some really wicked possible side effects including psychosis (a break with reality). Here is a website that lists some:

http://www.biaxinsideeffects.com/

"Psychiatric side effects have included anxiety, behavioral changes, confusional states, depersonalization, disorientation, hallucinations, insomnia, depression, manic behavior, nightmares, and psychosis during postmarketing experience. These effects usually resolved after discontinuation of clarithromycin (the active ingredient contained in Biaxin)"

I will never take Biaxin again. My mind never felt so ill before.
I thought I had stepped into the Twilight Zone.

I think we are all a bit different, as Biaxin was great for me (and my daughter)

if you try and up your detox and still get no relief after some days, could be the drug itself and your body (like others) and discontinue.

Did you start Septra at the same time? Wonder if it's that?
That is a sulphur drug, right? Some have an issue with that...
