I thought I had read that it was 3 days on / 4 days off.
Just making sure....read on another post that its OK to take for 60-90 days without pulsing.
Also, has anyone taken this...did they find this helpful?
Taking it with Malarone.
thanks His Mom

Is not supposed to be pulsed or will lose effectiveness. The body produces an enzyme that inactivates it after about four days, thus the need to pulse.

We did Zhang's 10 days out of the month. Three a day. Switched to Zhang2 for a year.

- This is to be part of a full protocol, not alone, just to be clear.
Continuous. Not on and off, if his protocol is followed. If you are adding this product to another protocol, ask the doctor who is suggesting that.
I did very well when on this protocol for a few months, at two different points in time. I wish I could have stayed on it as it was fabulous help and I needed to more time.
At the time of the book was written it was 40-days at time with the addition of Artemisin to the protocol. Then just the regular protocol with With repeat cycles of artemisinin if needed. His thoughts on that have been adapted a bit, though, since the book -- so be sure to consult his office, after reading the book and site. -

- Best to read the book, site (including any updated material)- and consult here (and with a LL ND, when at all possible):
or call for help: Hepapro - www.hepapro.com -

- When considering herbal / nutritional / adjunct methods:
if at all possible - because each person & each case is different - it's best to consult with an ILADS-educated LL ND (lyme literate naturopathic doctor) (or similar) who has completed four years of post-graduate medical education in the field of herbal and nutritional medicine -
- and someone who is current with ILADS' research & presentations, past and present, and has completed the ILADS Physician Training Program (see: www.ilads.org )
Many LL NDs incorporate antibiotics (depending upon the licensing laws in their state). Some LLMDs and LL NDs have good working relationships.
When possible, it's great to have both a LLMD and LL ND and even better when they have a long-standing professional relationship.
(Be aware that those in some categories can have zero or various levels of formal herbal &/or nutritional education, perhaps even just a short course. Do ask first.)
Links to many articles and books by holistic-minded LL doctors of various degrees who all have this basic approach in common:
Understanding of the importance of addressing the infection(s) fully head-on with specific measures from all corners of medicine;
knowing which supplements have direct impact, which are only support and which are both.
You can compare and contrast many approaches.
