I am happy to report (albeit, tentatively-it seems too good to be true), that the spotted rash I have had since 2002 is officially gone.
I have had lesions on 80% of my body since 2002. It was diagnosed as guttate psoriasis and I have tried every treatment for psoriasis out there.
Worn long sleeved shirts and shorts during the summer since 2002. Have avoided a bathing suit because I look contagious. Have had coworkers blatantly sanitize the toilet seat after I used the washroom because they were worried about my 'rash'.
I started lyme treatment April 13, 2013, and I just noticed today that there is absolutely zero lesions on my body now. (scars from previous lesions) but NO fresh lesions!!!!
Yay! This is great! If I wasn't so darn pale, I'd parade around in my swimsuit!
I feel like there's hope for the rest of my body now
Just curious, any others misdiagnosed with guttate psoriasis on here?

I had psoriasis on my scalp just before my Lyme diagnosis. With the Lyme treatment the scalp psoriasis is gone. Posted by GretaM (Member # 40917) on :
Awesome! That's great to read
I feel more hopeful now, because if it is reducing inflammation in my skin, then surely there is a reduction of inflammation elsewhere. (Haven't felt it yet, haha, but logically it should be happening)

Hahaha! You bet-I've worn them so little, they're practically brand new. I've made a date with my friend and her son to go swimming on Wednesday. I can hardly wait.

Congratulations! So happy for you.
(Wish a friend of mine with lesions would consider tick-borne illness - she's so resistant. She's barely able to walk (uses crutches) and suffers every day.)
