Hi Everyone!

I just posted a LONG story than my iPad froze so here I go again [Smile]

I was treated for Lyme, Babs and Bart for a year and a half stopping in July of 2011.

I noticed last month, migrating joint pain

One second it's in my knee, the next an elbow, the next my other knee....

It could last for 5 minutes or 5 seconds and come back a couple of times a day or not at all

I have it happening again this month though I can't say the timing is a month for sure (the Lyme cycle)

I never had this symptom before so I am wondering what you all think

I feel I should go revisit my llmd but I guess just want to hear others opinions before I do

Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks [Smile]

I would say you should make an appointment with your LLMD. It could be the old infection, or a new one.

Thank you steve1906! It never occurred to me that it could be a new infection!

When we discover we have Lyme disease we tend to be very careful outdoors, so a lot of us never think well get it again. Well I thought the same way, I learned the hard way.

Pennsylvania leads the nation in confirmed cases of Lyme disease, with more than 4,700 in 2011, according to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

And the number of confirmed cases in the southwestern part of the state spiked by 75 percent from 315 cases in 2010 to 552 cases in 2011, according to Kait Gillis, deputy press secretary for the state Department of Health.

I will have to be more vigilant

That is some eye opening numbers, thanks for posting

After I completed my lyme treatment some years ago, I returned to my lyme doctor wondering if I was relapsing.

He told me the symptoms of a relapse. One was migrating pains. That's exactly what you are describing. First it hurts here, then it hurts there, etc. So, it deserves a visit to the doctor.
