Does anyone know what an elevated TGF-b1 is related to?

Mine was crazy high. I think it was an inflammation marker. It's been awhile since I researched it.

- Some interesting search results at Google with these three starting combinations:
TGF-b1, infection; TGF-b1, lyme; and also: TGF-b1, bartonella -

I was talking to my LLMD today about TGF-b1.. Bascially she said it was a marker for inflammation caused by biotoxicity.. So it can be from Lyme, Mold and /or other toxins.
