Hi Everyone,

I am co founder of Kentuckiana Lyme Disease Support Group. We have a member who has Lyme, Brucella, Babesia and Bartonella. She also has the following genetic mutations: CBS, MTHFR both mutations, NatI1142, Nat2k268R, and GSTMI. She is looking for the best Dr. on the East Coast who could slowly treat all of these problems. I am posting in medical due to the complexity of her case. Please pm me if you have any ideas. Thanks.

Being that I have most of these same mutations, I'd suggest she work with an Environmental Medicine specialist.

Since I don't live on the East Coast, I don't know of one, but she can search for one here:

I would say find the best Lyme Dr she can and work on the mutations herself. (Explaining to the LLMD that she is extremely sensitive to meds and cannot detox, so that they will slowly wean her up). I have found that the best Lyme Drs seem to only RX Methyl B12 shots, Glutathione and recommend something like Methyl Protect. No one seems to address the other mutations.

She sounds alot like me...lots of bugs, but cannot detox.

Has she tried using a FIR sauna slowly to help detox?

These links explain the mutations and what can be done for them:

Be aware that the recommendations in the DetoxiGenomics information may not be able to be done until the methylation variants are addressed. And those must be done in a specific order or sequence.

The protocol for methylation variants is outlined in the free book download noted by Lax Mom above.
