I ended up having to have my tooth pulled. Its been so long since I've been to the dentist, so this is what happens.
Going back in a few weeks to get a complete checkup and cleaning. No telling what else they will find in there.
Anyway, the extraction went well. Everything went smooth. Not much bleeding and it seems to be healing up very well.
My dentist said I can either get a permanent bridge, or an implant. He said healthy people do well with implants and that's his first choice. I just don't feel healthy enough to consider that. So I'm probably going to go with the permanent bridge.
Any suggestions on this?

I've heard good things about the snap in type of piece. It's almost like a mini denture. This way you can take it out during sleep and won't have any metal in your mouth disrupting the flow of energy through your meridians.
I would never do an implant.
So glad to hear your extraction went well. I need one myself. My LLMD is pre-treating me so it will all go smoothly.

He is right.. HEALTHY people do well with implants. KEY word there.
The snap in piece sounds promising...?

There is a non-metal implant - uses carbon instead of metal...ask a biological dentist about it.

This is not a snap on. It is a permanent bridge. The tooth on each side of the extraction is ground down and it is a three piece permanent, like after a root canal. It would be glued on to the two teeth on either side.
If my teeth were crammed together I wouldn't even worry about it; but my teeth are so straight. They would start to separate eventually.
My mother and hubby have one. My mom has had hers for 25 years with no problems.
I'm sure I have other dental work to be done also. I didn't go to the dentist the whole time I was sick with LD. I was just so ill, that was my excuse.
