Hi,

Right now doing 30 days of difflucan to make sure no yeast.

But when were done going to do a 7 day parasite protocol to see if any improvement.

I don't have the plan in front of me but it involves 2 days of one med, 1 day of another and 4 of another...PinX is one of the meds and I believe ivermectin is another, don't remember the others.

Do you think 7 days is enough to see anything?

If we do see something then our doc will continue with treating parasites, if not, then I guess he won't.

FYI: tested negative 2 times for parasites. Its just that nothing else is working so they are trying this.

Any thoughts?

It might let you know if you have a problem, but it takes a long time to kill out the parasites.

That is what I did in the beginning of my parasite tx. Then based on my response we treated longer with meds and on herbs all the time.

Hi,

Great. If we just get a response I'll be happy. That's all I need for his LLMD to continuing treating for parasites.

What should I look out for?

My DS (23) doesn't speak so can't ask how he's feeling.
Will he actually seem better?

thank you

I had an increase in nightsweats, body pain, over all sick feeling, headache, eye pain, light sensitivity, TMJ flare up, facial neuropathy, restlessness and stomach bloating. At the end of the week while on Alinia I felt the best I had felt in years and I have been at this TBI thing for close to 10 years. I stay on Alinia full time now along with a few other things.

You will probably see that he might get worse as the parasites begin to die - very similiar to a lyme herx. Check out the Parasite Warriors thread - lots of great info. there.

I think PinX is the same as the Canadian Combantrin.

I have taken Combantrin before.

Details following. Those who are squeamish, stop reading now.

You will know it is effective because alertness level will increase slightly, and you will see things in the toilet.

An example-things that look like cherry or blueberry skins, even when you haven't eaten cherries or blueberries for months.

Strange stringy-things surrounding your poo.
(I believe these are pinworms or smaller roundworms as well).

When the lab gets a stool specimen, they add various chemicals first to dissolve lipids and fibres. They mix these chemicals in for a set amount of time and then centrifuge the sample.
What remains is what they analyze.

They identify a parasite by it's egg/cysts form.

I can't say for certain if human stool testing is the same as veterinary stool testing.
But...My dogs poo was full of roundworms. The vet and the techs saw the roundworms in her poo. (still alive and moving). Sent her poo off to determine if she had any other parasites. It came back negative, even though there were worms all through it.

My suspicion is that the worms didn't survive the centrifugal process, which is why the sample returned as negative.

I sure hope the parasite treatment helps.

Some of the old schoolers recommend starting parasite treatment around a full moon.

Parasite Warriors thread has some good info.

Best wishes
