Just a thought could fecal transplants cure lyme.
It's curing lots of other things.

How could it cure lyme?

No! It's used to add back beneficial bacteria that's been killed off by antibiotics it's useful for c diff and other gut issues but it only affects gut microbiology. That's all

Agree.. It just restores the healthy gut bacteria.

But 90 percent of your immune system is in your gut. It could crowd out the bad bacteria

I would do it in a heartbeat if it cured my illness.

It should help your overall health, that is for sure!

I wouldn't hesitate to do it to get rid of my Candida. Nothing else seems to be working.

I agree that fecal transplants are good for rebalancing colon biomes.
And a good healthy colon is essential for a healthy immune system.

I just feel that BB is so excellent at evading everything an immune system has, that some other external antibacterial methods would be needed to completely recover.

And funny you bring this up...I was trying to think of who one would ask to donate?
A stranger? No way! But I don't know anyone 100% healthy in my life!
Haha.

But Tricia-I like that you put this idea out there!

This is how we're going to get better and beat this infection-by pooling our ideas and brainstorming

I have read of it turning back parkinsons, fibro, cfs and ms. So I don't see why it wouldn't. MS and parkinson's are certainly not just in the bowel.

I too like the idea that you put this idea out there since ms is highly linked to lyme.

I know, Greta! I think people usually ask a family member. I need a family member with no yeast! Hard to come by!
