Hi everyone, Looking to hear experiences, opinions etc.
Our DD just restarted IV Zith low dose after taking it for twelve days then stopping for ten days to clear a nasty herx.
Since restarting the IV Zith on Thursday, her anxiety is to the Max. Anxiety medication is not even helping.
She started the IV Zith on July 25. INfused daily until Aug 5th and then no infusions until Aug 15th.
Wondering if this increased, over the edge anxiety is Bart or something else.
Had to stop IV Rocephin as it was causing non stop Pysch symptoms etc.
Very discouraged and need some input good or bad.

How about taking her to Dr. B in NJ? He is a LL psychiatrist and might be able to help her manage the herxing.

IMO if it's overwhelming, over the top anxiety, it's bart. If benzo's aren't working, low dose narcotics may help. Both are bad and addictive but if it's stopping you from treating, I think you need to try anything.

I don't know about IV zith, but one of the side effects of the oral version is anxiety.
