Hi, welcome.

I can't answer your question personally, as I don't know the ins and outs of haematology or dna sequencing etc.

Are these your results and symptoms?

What does your doctor say about your results?

Also, have you been tested for any lyme and co from any specialty labs yet? Advanced Lab etc.

Your name suggests a eurasian BB, if my memory serves me correctly.

Did you get bit by a tick overseas? Russia, Japan etc.?

I am not sure the specifics of the M (can't spell it) strain.

If you haven't already, there are some great links at the top of the forums for more info on lyme and co. They are worth the time to read. You may learn something.

Greta, B. miyamotoi is not a Eurasian Bb, it is a borrelia which is not part of the burgdorferi group and is in US.

High Eosinophils may indicate Babesia, Protomyxzoa Rheumatica, or other parasitic infection.

Babesia (& probably PR & other protozoa) can cause "air hunger," which may also feel a lot like Asthma.

Lyme itself is known to trigger allergies/allergic diseases.

8 legs-Thanks for clearing up the origin of the myamotoi. Don't know why my brain got caught up in Russia Japan origin.

Here is what Dr. H. of NY said about B. miyamotoi at the 2011 lyme conference:

"Borrelia miyamotoi is showing up in ticks in Hyde Park, NY. This strain is in Japan. We can’t test for it."

So, there is the Japan origin that GretaM was remembering.

Absolutely.
so now we know the "Japanese" B miyamotoi is in much of the world, including USA, why should we be surprised that other "Japanese" or "Eurasian" borrelia would be in US?
