What will happen if I stopped all treatment?

Gonzo-I don't know. Have you talked to your doc about this?

I had to stop abx for 2 weeks or so because of a c.diff scare.

They were 2 weeks of straight h-"l.

I won't ever ever ever ever go off abx unless I have a herbal alternative to take, and until I am sure lyme and co are eradicated.

Every system in my body got inflamed, and those two weeks set me back back back from the progress I had made.

My eyes have not recovered from those two weeks-I think lyme really damaged them.

Are you worried about losing more weight?
And I know you've been having difficulty eating and stuff like that.

Is it possible that you aren't on the right kind of abx for you? That your symptoms could be the result of lyme getting stronger?

Are you on a cyst buster like tindimax?

Best wishes and big hugs. And I just got a cusinart processor so I can still do my veggies.
(too dangerous trying to use a knife or a grater now) and I would make you lunch every day if I could.

Greta

Hi Gonzo--I remember you posted that you have bad neuro symptoms, so I'm concerned. What's happening?

Odds are that you will probably go downhill with lyme and company. Lyme grows slowly, but it brings to the surface everything you've been exposed to (toxins, viruses, etc). And some of the co infections cannot be ignored once they have gotten to a certain point (although people who don't even know about lyme and company do this and inevitably deteriorate). Babs can be deadly if left untreated (leads to other auto immune diseases).

It's not worth ignoring, IMO. I would at the very least do herbs, salt c, and treat for parasites.

LLMD took me off ABX about 3 wks ago. I am on herbals and supplements. Just told hubby a few minutes ago, I feel like crap!!! It's like I'm going back to where I was before ABX started in Jan.

Dr was giving me a break from the ABX for 2 months - I'm not so sure this was a good idea!!!

I have been my own doctor since December of 2011. The doctor wanted me to do more mepron but I couldn't handle it consistently anymore so I started my own approaches. That included taking mepron as I was able and that was for very short periods of time or once. I also did Dr. K's parasite protocol and I can't say whether that helped or not.

I tried various herbs but I think that my body just started taking over without the antibiotics. My diet was good. I got off sugar.
Anyhow, I am now using the salt/C protocol and starting very slowly.

I feel my battle is near the end. These decisions are hard. Good luck.

I've never been the same since I stopped my orals in 2009. Tried other things, but nothing like when I was on Iv orals. I had a life then.

I forgot to mention that I started getting hair tests (Tissue Mineral Analysis) done a year ago by Analytical Research Labs and I've followed their supplement recommendations. They recommend products by Standard Process which is ground up food put into tablets. I've been taking these supplements for the past year and believe they have been of great help. I'm taking about 11 supplements by them and they are worth the cost.
