Has anyone taken just T3 for thyroid? My integrative nurse practitioner recommended it and my LLMD agrees it could help. Does anyone have experience with this?

I would like to hear about this as well. I've heard lots of conflicting information about T3 only for various purposes. I almost tried it once but never took the leap.

- Not a good idea to take T3 alone, are you sure that's what was said? But, if so, and if you do, be absolutely, positively, without-a-doubt certain that it will be timed release. Otherwise, since T3 has a very short half-life, when it wears off after a few hours, it can drop you like a tons of bricks and nothing about that will be pretty.
Usually, best to combine T3 & T4. NatureThroid may be considered and also see what other configurations they have. I have used NatureThroid for years.
Years ago, even with a T4 Rx, I was also put on Cytomel (T3). When it wore off each afternoon, it nearly killed me, literally. It took a very time to understand what was going on and it took finding a naturopathic doctor to figure it out. -

I take timed release T3, 2x day. Lifesaver for me. As soon as I add T4 to it, I get high Rt3, so don't take T4, just the active form, T3. Highly recommend, but make sure your adrenals are in good shape. www,stopthethyroidmadness.com
