when I went to my LLMD last month he put me on l-gluthione and alkaselter gold daily because I wasn't detoxing well. I have done everything I can that I've read of to detox.
the past 3 days I've been getting increasingly worse and of course the one time I need my LLMD he is on vacation.
I have Lyme and Babesia that I know of. Despite a lot of pain medicine I'm in excruciating pain, extremely short of breath, so weak I can't even get across without panting, shaking, my blood pressure is low and my heart rate is extremely high.
could I be anemic from the babesia. Or is this just a terrible herx. I just lost my insurance or I probably would have gone to the emergency room couple times this week. Any suggestions? I've just never felt this bad.

Many of us are doing the www.23andme.com saliva test which can show a knowledgeable LLMD where we can detox well and where not.
I have a hard time detoxing too and we're going to be able to pin down the enzyme pathways that are compromised and in need of boost help.
You order the kit from the company and the test costs $99.
In the meantime, my personal opinion is to back off of these treatments if they are causing you this level of symptoms, then try a little bit of the suggested treatment, not a lot initially, to see whether you tolerate it, and test one thing at a time.
I am not a doctor - really good idea if you could get in touch with back-up, as Nonna suggested.

Are you on babesia meds? Sounds like babesia symptoms.
If on meds it could be a herx or you might not be on the right meds or the right dose. Depends a lot on how long you have been on the meds and how long you have been infected.
If not on babs meds -- then you need to get on them ASAP.
ALAmax -- a specific brand of alpha lipoic acid worked better than glutathione for hubby. That supplement is needed to produce glutathione.
In my opinion detox will not do much at all to help if you are not on babesia meds.
Babesia is one of the hardest infections to treat in my opinion.
If you share what meds you are on you may get more suggestions of what to do next.
Yes, anemia can cause some of your symptoms. But generally not to the extent you mention. And usually anemia comes on gradually even with babesia unless you have just started meds recently or have a new acute infection.
