Hi
So sorry you are having headaches and anxiety. Are you currently receiving treatment?

Have you been tested for confections, such as babesia and bartonella? For me, bartonella causes these symptoms.

Ice packs on head and back of neck help me some with the headaches. Hang in. This is a great forum to ask questions.

I sleep with those soft blue ice things at night.

You can buy them on Amazon. Not too expensive.

Hope you find some relief.

I get headaches at night too. If I take Imetrex as soon as I feel it coming on, it knocks it out. I believe mine are caused from PR, which also causes anxiety. I have been having more anxiety recently too.

I do as well.

About 3-4 hours before I go to bed, the headache starts.

I take Axert, otherwise the next day will be a migraine.

I sleep with the soft blue ice packs also.

I attribute this to Bart.

If I get overheated at night, then the headache will be terrible, so I sleep with the window open.

It's been -3 celcius here and I still get overheated.

I wish I could be of more help to you but it is something I struggle with myself.

Keinbinder, PR is short for Protomyxzoa Rheumatica. It is a blood parasite that is controlled with a low fat vegan (ish) diet and ivermectin, or anti-malarial drugs.

I am wondering if my headaches are bart related but PR and babesia can cause them too. Here is a link I found that is kind of helpful.

http://www.gordonmedical.com/unravelling-complex-chronic-illness/bartonella-like-organisms-blo-consideration-signs-and-symptoms/

It says BLO can be dormant and then come out again. I think that may be what is happening with me. I am getting new symptoms - after all these years, you would think I would have experienced everything by now.

The soles of my feet are slightly sore in the morning = very typical of bart and I never had this symptom before. So strange.

Try Imetrex for your headaches. It is generic now. I get 9 100 mg pills for about $20. I can break up the pills into thirds so they last me a long time.

But I have to take one immediately when I just suspect a headache. If I wait, it will come on very quickly and very strong. Then it takes 100 mg to knock it out. The headache also makes me nauseous.

Kelly, do you have temperature drops or does fog roll in where you are San Diego? I get barometric migraines... (Not sure if its Lyme and co or not). But when I was visiting San Fran... I got one every night as the fog rolled in.

If you can catch it before it gets bad Tylenol with sudafed can help.
