Hi everyone

So I am on week six of treatment and I'm starting to feel worse. I have been feeling lousy for the

last few days. Week 1-4 of treatment I was starting to feel better and symptoms were starting to go

away but now everything is back again.

You could have something else going on, of course.

Yet, in answer to the question, yes - it's common & expected to feel worse during treatment. It's likely a "Herxheimer" reaction. And, while lyme / TBD is/are bad enough, treatment is rough, too. Sorry.

Still, there are things that help. I hope your doctor started you on liver support before treatment started . . . and you may want to ask him/her about changes in that.

LIVER & KIDNEY SUPPORT & and several HERXHEIMER support links, too.

Same experience for me TBrown.

Started a bad flare on week 6 of IV, and although it let up about 20%, it is back to being as bad as it was before starting abx.

It's been 3 weeks like this.
