The last 2 weeks have been hell. Stabbing pains in sides, stomach, ribs and back. Going to a new LLMD at end of month. It's been 3 1/2 years with no relief of any pains let alone these now. Anyone experience anything like this and if so, what did you do? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Gabapentin helped take the edge off my stabbing nerve pains early in my treatment. You need to take it continuously for it to work.

I do take Gabapentin for RSD however I only take one at night. If I take more than that, I am like a zombie. Thanks, though, for getting back to me. It is appreciated.

I usually take 2 or 3 300mg capsules at bedtime. As for feeling like a zombie... my head pressure and brain fog from Lyme and Babs trumped that hang-over feeling.
When you are a train-wreck some side-effects are tolerated.
good luck, have you looking into a Lyme-friendly acupuncturist? Some say that helps and some will work on a sliding scale.
