Some folks are concerned they will not be covered by insurance due to the IDSA's IDiot Guidelines and political interference. BUT....

As we all know Lyme and tick borne diseases can cause MANY symptoms and conditions. Many of these symptoms are listed in the IDSA guidelines, NIH reports, and even Ho Ho Hopkins, Yulky Yale and Hold the Mayo Clinic literature.

For example, when going to your doctor you complain of being totally exhausted. Your muscles or joints may be hurting. Your arthritis is flaring. You are depressed. You may have Lyme related bladder issues at that visit. Etc, etc.

Yes, Lyme itself is treated with XX amount of doxy or Rocephin, according to the IDSA IDiots, BUT, treatment for what symptoms, syndromes and conditions you are having can be different.

If the IDSA IDiots can call CHRONIC Lyme disease "post-Lyme disease syndrome" and deny treatment for it, then we can certainly call our Lyme related symptoms (or other TBD related symptoms) what they actually are.

Check out this sample list of billing codes than can be used to help get you what is needed at any given time.

Then tell your doctor about it and use it! For example- look at all the treatment options approved by the CDC Idiots for chronic fatigue. Click the link below and go to the bottom of the page and check out - "Options for Treating and Managing CFS".

http://www.cdc.gov/cfs/management/index.html

You can then look up your individual symptoms and find treatment options and related documentation.

Its when they label you as suicidal or neurotic or drug seeking or some such trash that causes problems for us. And the fact that most docs still will not give abx long term.

My insurance will not pay for my llmd and questions all my prescriptions.

Those are long term ongoing problems.
