I am freaking out a little. I am off abx 1 month, finished last round of co-artem 2 weeks ago. I didn't really feel much on my 4th round of coartem so we started to treat yeast. I started Sunday on diflucan, nystatin and herbs
Holy moly, my firearms are so sore- feels like bone pain. Yesterday my shoulders and back really hurt. Is this a yeast die off/ I had similar symptoms when treating TBD's so I'm not sure what's going on ! Occasional fast heart rate too
Anyone else have bad pain from yeast? I've heard it compared to feeling like you have the flu....I haven't ever really had the flu- so I'm not sure what

Sounds like it to me! No one believes me when I tell them that the yeast has been as bad if not worse for me than Lyme.
When you begin to really TREAT the yeast, you find out.
That is why I preach so hard on this. I have suffered greatly from it.
You may need to back off on the meds a bit.

Well, this stinks!

Some say that Diflucan works on Lyme, but I still say the herx from Diflucan is the Candida/yeast itself. It's nasty.

I don't get pain from yeast die off, but we are all different-
I am working on yeast right now, and it's not a fast process, as I think it's been flourishing for decades.
My diet has gotten better and better, and I started some antifungals herbs again and more die off,
I get constipated, tightening in abdomen, gas, bloating, nausea, fatigue,
but in- between, I'm now feeling a better sense of calm. But it's going to be a long walk.
Keeping the bowels moving, drops of molybdenum, vitamin C, liver support, digestive enzymes, etc. help my process.
But the carb and sugar intake must go down and away otherwise it's a vicious circle, I am finding.

My LLMD said no to Diflucan and Nystatin at the same time. ARe you swallowing the Nystatin or just swishing it in your mouth?

- Absolutely!
I've taken Diflucan and Nystatin together for many years. Right now I'm on Sporonox and Nystatin.

I'm taking the pill type nystatin and diflucan. My LLMD said if you don't kill yeast in the gut it will just spread systemically- the diflucan kills it systemically- nystatin stays in the gut and intestinal tract?

Correct

Hang in there with yeast treatment. I've had it myself and am about to treat a flare up soon.
I herxed from yeast treatment: anxiety, body aches and pains, headaches, fatigue....it can be tough if there is a lot to kill off.
You can do it though! Clean diet, stick to your treatment (sometimes might have to back off a bit), lots of water....you'll get over the hump and past this!
