We had the Real Time mycoplasm test. Very expensive and my wife tested positive for Trichothecene. If you PM me an email I can send you some data. We will be doing an ERMI test of select areas in our house. The house was built in 1996 but had poor construction in the roof that we had to replace and it had aspergillus mold. We have had some other water leaks so need to test if her results are a current exposure or past as she has the defective methylation gene.

I would like to know what bloodwork you could have done to show this. I have suspected this as a problem for me, but my LLNP did not know what blood work we would need to show this. Also wondering if there is a test for aspergillus.

I also did the mycotoxin test from Real Time Labs.
It is expensive. Close to 800 buckaroos.
It tests for three main groups/families of molds that make mycotoxins.
Their names escape me.
But I believe it is on the website.
It is a urine test.

My doc said it involved test tubes & I thought it was a saliva test. My Lyme brain escapes me.
Damn, that much? I will have to pass on it then. I have already tested for Lyme a few times & it has finally started to break me in.

Real Time Labs is the place to get the test done to see if mycotoxins from mold reside within your body -- be sure to get the urine test.

My urine test from Real Time showed .66ppb for Trichotthecene which is a mycotoxin from Stachybotrys chartarum aka "black mold". The test cost $525 through my doctor.
I then ordered a Pro-Lab test kit and sent it in for analysis. It contains a a petri dish which I taped to my forced air duct for 15 minutes and then let it grow for 3 days. It grew a dark mold and I sent it in for analysis. No results as yet.
My doctor who ordered the test has me taking a combination of Chlorella, Bentonite Clay and Charcoal. I have read these all are proposed as being able to absorb the Trichotthecene and then its excreted in the stool. Thats the theory. Just sarted a week ago slowly and I'm hoping it will make a difference.
The petri dishes only show if there are mold spores in your home. They don't tell you if you were exposed somewhere else or at a different time. The Real Time Labs test actually tests your urine looking for the Mycotoxins in your body using an ELISA. So its not the same.
Its best to do both if you can afford it. If the Real Time Lab test shows a mycotoxin in your urine, then its wise to check if its your home with the Petri Dish test.
You can run your forced air into it or place it near a suspected area of mold. If after 2-4 days, there is mold growth in the dish, it can be sent in for analysis as to what type of mold it is.
