Absolutely. It's a classic issue for those with lyme. What helps:

REST when you feel that way. Lie down in the dark, in quiet (or gentle music -- but it's best to be as quiet as possible - even soft music can tax adrenal function when it's overwhelmed).

For a start, be sure to get an ILADS educated lyme literate doctor (LLMD or LL ND). They must be ILADS educated / connected / minded for the science foundation.

Topic: MAGNESIUM LINKS sets - Most with lyme are very deficient in magnesium. It is a major help in our bodies being able to calm that zoomed up ickiness that lyme causes.

AVOID caffeine, especially . . . and all avoid all food additives for a start at what you can do TODAY.

Excitotoxins; MSG; Aspartame; & "Natural" Flavors (that are not likely natural at all).

Other help will come from two cornerstones of lyme treatment support: LIVER & ADRENAL SUPPORT

LIVER & KIDNEY SUPPORT & and several HERXHEIMER support links, too.

This can help reduce toxicity (that can cause excitatory reactions in the body) even before one can get into that first appointment with a LLMD.

I would also AVOID ALL FLUORESCENT LIGHTS. Far too stimulating in bad ways.

The new fangled energy savers are terrible for our eyes and our nervous systems of many with challenges. You may need to stock up with what is left on the shelves for incandescent bulbs now, though. They are no longer being made and the supply will run out soon.

Welcome!! [Smile]

You may want to eliminate all sources of caffeine too. Find a Dr who would be willing to check out your adrenal gland function.

PS .. If this is your real name, you may want to read this:
