I have a low grade fever at least 25 days out of each month. Usually around 100.2 to 100.8. I would assume it's my normal body temp if it weren't for those few days where it drops to 98.4. Anyone have experience with this or know what the culprit could be?

I have read that fevers are associated with bart and babesia, but at different times of the day/night.

With lyme (Bb) what I have read is that it likes cooler body temperatures and can actually lower your body temp 1/2 degree.

If your temperature is usually high but steady, not up or down as bart/babesia, maybe the lower temps for a few days are from the 28day Bb flare? Just a thought....

I used to.

The afternoon fever.

After some recent abx changes, it seems to have disappeared with high dose doxy, of all things.

So I am assuming it was a coinfection that doxy is effective against.

But quite often I read of babesia and bartonella being responsible for low grade fevers.

ok, thanks. I guess I started noticing it more as I increased samento for bart, so that would make sense!
