Hello,

I am one of those "non-methylator" people. (liver doesn't remove toxins from lyme and other stuff).

Without detox protocols (coffee enemas, epsom-salt/baking soda baths, glutathione suppositories, etc...) I get so sick and exhausted and overloaded w/ toxins.

As soon as I do a coffee-enema, I feel better and can go on with life. As soon as I stop coffee enemas for a week or two, BAM! I get sick, and even high amounts of I.V. glutathione, i.v peroxide, and i.v. mega doses of vit-C don't help.

So I end up using the coffee enemas as a rescue

What scares me is that I have to make a two week trip soon, and travel brings on the WORST exhaustion, feeling sick and toxic, etc.

How can I do C.E.'s during travel? Would i just stuff a suitcase full of disposable towels which are necessary? Would i just bring organic coffee and put boiling (chlorinated, I'm on travel afterall) water in a cup?

I really need to come up with a way to survive during travel. Even intense burbur protocols don't do it when my liver gets overloaded. So I'm kind of scared. On previous trips I have just dragged myself around feeling like death-warmed-over, and it has been hell.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated! Thank You!

I have the same issue (non methylator), and travel really wipes me out too.

You could always use organic instant coffee (Newmans Own) and maybe fleet enema bottles, but you have to be careful about not getting air in you. There are also disposable enema bags you can get too (amazon).

Of course chlorinated water is not something you would use everyday, but during travel, you have to do what you can, so I wouldn't hesitate to use it.

Another thought would be to make little sachets of your own coffee before your trip (cheesecloth and string) and steep them in some hot water (cups) wherever you are going. Once they cool, do your enema.

There are several to choose from on amazon. I just use paper towels on top of a big towel. You can take a couple of sheets of wax paper with you to protect the towel (under the paper towels).

great ideas catgirl!

Mostly I just don't know how I'd handle the mess. At home I use a stack of old rags and towels, which i throw in the wash afterwards.

I will be using hotel and/or shared bathrooms. At home, the coffee gets sprayed everywhere! what would i do, haul a suitcase full of rags/towels and then throw them away? Is there a way to do the c.e. in a hotel or shared bathroom????

I used to spray coffee everywhere too (explosion, lol!). I can read my body better now, so now I know when to hold it longer (wait for the urge to pass, then go to the john to expel)--just takes practice. This prevents an explosive mess.

Now I hardly ever have a disaster, but when I do it's because I got air in me. Do you make sure to extract the air before you do the enema? It really helps.

You could always do it in the tub, just buy something to clean it with at the drug store (also some paper towels). I would just buy this stuff where ever your destination is. You can pick up paper towels and even peroxide at the store there. Maybe take a few plastic garbage bags with you in your bag.

Use a fleet or tube enema. I only use those one because it's such a hassle.

I'm also not aware of any danger w getting some air inside you. Cat girl, can you expand on that? Is it something that's lyme specific? Just asking cause they do air enemas.

Air causes pain for me. I neglected to do this and suffered terribly the first time I tried my first coffee enema. I sometimes still can do enemas with a tiny bit of air (lazy), but not much or the coffee comes right back out.

It also says to get the air out in the instructions that came with every enema kit I've purchased (says it's a must).

would instant coffee work? its some super mysterious compound in the coffee that detoxes the liver, so would it be the same w/ instant coffee?

I vaguely remember reading to go for regular coffee instead of instant due to processing, chemicals, etc. Instant is not something I would use on a regular basis, but for traveling I probably would consider using the organic instant (easier). You could always try it at home first to see if it works.

These say do not buy instant, but I'm not sure why:
