The confusion yesterday was unbearable. Found out my salt was low today have to take extra lasix. I can't take not knowing whats making me crazy. Salt, progesterone coming off a psych drug that was last month. All a month ago. There has to be a God. My ondamed practitioner ddn't run lyme today, I had enough. Is there justice in this?

Doesn't Lasix make the salt situation worse?

Please change doctors! [group hug]

Somebody should be able to figure this out and HELP you.

Low sodium in blood levels can lead to Hypotrenia, which in turn can lead to brain swelling. This is in very severe cases though such as those seen in marathon runners who drink too much water/over hydrate with water.

I need a certain amount of salt or I feel crazy. Part of it is that I get low blood pressure and low blood volume, which means not enough blood in my head.

If the Kidneys retain salt you will retain fluid,
If you do not retain fluid you will feel very faint and may in fact Faint at times.
A (Tilt table test) may be helpful.

I have this and my Dr put me on a high salt diet
with plenty of water throughout the day.
I did have this test and it was positive.
I don't know what the connection is to lyme but
some lyme people have this

They ran lyme on mon and wed with ondamed and my salt was down Thursday. It's connected, wish I knew how.
